I can’t recommend Robert at Smooth Lift Garage Doors highly enough. I called him at about 6:30 PM with a broken garage door, and he was at my house in less than 30 minutes. That kind of response time, especially in the evening, was impressive. Robert was professional, knowledgeable, and completely upfront about the pricing before doing the work. His prices were very reasonable, and there were no surprises. He quickly figured out the problem, got the door working properly, and took the time to explain what had happened. What impressed me even more was that he didn’t just fix the immediate problem and leave. He offered several helpful suggestions for making the door operate better and extending its life, without trying to sell me things I didn’t need. In this day and age of large corporations and a lack of personal responsibility, It’s refreshing to find someone who is responsive, honest, reasonably priced, and takes real pride in his work. I called Robert at about 4:00 on Friday night after making a few calls that were recommended in Nextdoor. He told me all the charges and fees up front and came over at 8:30 at night. My door had pervious problems that I found out after I purchased my home in 2020. He first fixed the garage door and proceeded to replace 2 spring and various bolts that were incirrect.y door previously had one spring and needed work. He finished the job and charged the exact number quoted. He also showed me the many problem the previous owners garage door company left.  Out of 10 his company deserves a 11. I cannot say enough great things about Robert! It’s rare to find someone who is as honest, reliable, and genuinely kind as he is. He came to our house on very short notice to repair our garage, and his pricing was at least 25% lower than the other quotes we received. Not only did he save us money, but he also provided outstanding service and quality workmanship. It’s refreshing to work with someone who truly cares about their customers. EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE! Robert came to my rescue on a Friday night when none of the other national name brand providers had techs available to assist me. He responded in a timely fashion, was exceptionally courteous, very knowledgeable and I found his pricing to be very fair. I had a spring break for my garage door with both cars locked inside on a Sunday and needed to get to work. Robert was very responsive, called me back within minutes of leaving a message on their emergency line. He was able to get out to me within 2 hours. He explained in detail what had happened, replaced the parts and had everything up and running in no time. I feel his price was very fair, especially since he came last minute on a Sunday!
